Madhavi (Maddie) is a journalist based in Singapore.

She has worked as a writer, editor and copywriter for leading publications and corporates in Hong Kong.

After relocating to Singapore, she now contributes on freelance basis to online and print media in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. Her initial training in professional communications has enabled her to assist corporates with business and copywriting services.

Her portfolio of published work extends from fashion and jewellery to collectible watches and designer yachts; from architecture and design to investment and property; from travel and food to art and literature. She is therefore able to take up writing projects that are one-off commissioned articles or compiling a stand alone magazine supplement.

She takes a keen interest in architecture and design and reports on changes and trends within this field. Through her articles, she seeks to understand the deeper connection between the built environment and society, and to illustrate responsible approaches through sustainable design and technology.
